"Relocatingour administrative staff to less specialized office space meansthat we can expand our programming at our current location tofurther our mission and provide for more vulnerable children andtheir families."

The Children's Place Association was represented in the lease byJonathan Gordon, senior associate with Transwestern, while DavidSchraufnagel with Garrett Realty represented the building owner."The space fit well with The Children's Place Association'sprogramming needs and moving into built-out space was the mostcost-effective approach to relocation," Gordon says.

He says he can't divulge the lease rate for this deal. Askinglease rates in the River West neighborhood are around $38 persquare foot, gross, according to Cushman & Wakefield marketresearch.
