In a prepared release, Edward Jordan, regional manager of theManhattan office, says Zuckerman joins "several other high-profileinvestment specialists from competing brokerage firms who have madethe same decision to join Marcus & Millichap over the past fewmonths." Recent hires at the firm have included AdelaidePolsinelli, formerly a senior investment broker at Besen &Associates, and Marco Lala, who joined from Massey Knakal RealtyServices, where he had been a partner and spearheaded MasseyKnakal's expansion into the outer boroughs. In a statementannouncing Polsinelli's hire last July, Jordan noted that she hadbeen sought by "several local real estate firms" before deciding onMarcus & Millichap.

In his new position, Zuckerman will arrange the sale of avariety of properties, including multifamily, hotels, loftbuildings, land development and parking garages, according to therelease. His clients include high net-worth individuals,institutions and pension funds. Before his real estate salescareer, he managed 1,700 apartment and commercial property unitsfor Harry Helmsley and Irving Schneider.
