DAVENPORT, FL-Addison, TX-based Mattress Giant has signed alease for 83,864 square feet of industrial space with Duke RealtyCorp. at its Park 27 Distribution Center II, near the interchangeof Interstate 4 and US 27 in eastern Polk County. The new$5.4-million center will consolidate distribution to 123 retaillocations throughout Florida.
The lease will bring the 396,740-square-foot distribution centerto 92% occupancy, says Doug Irmscher, senior vice president of DukeRealty's Orlando office. Park 27 can ultimately support 1.2 millionsquare feet of bulk distribution space, he says.
