Sankyu Inc. took about 184,600 square feet at the facility. The company, which is based in Tokyo, also currently leases approximately 54,000 square feet from ProLogis at ProLogis Parc Amagasaki.
The other tenant to sign on for space at the facility is Kintetsu World Express, which took about 64,500 square feet. KWE, also based in Tokyo, takes 209,000 square feet throughout the ProLogis portfolio across Japan, China and the US.
ProLogis Parc Osaka II has eight stories, totaling 1.8-million square feet. Its other tenants include Daikin Industries, Hamakyorex, Flobal Corp. and Vantec Corp.
The lease signings come at a time of upheaval at ProLogis, which owns nearly 3,000 facilities across the globe. Jeff Schwartz, the company's chairman and CEO, announced his resignation last month, and executives have said they are halting all new developments.
