"Our goals are to lease up the balance of the vacant space andto increase rents so we can improve value," says Bill Divito,senior vice president with Grubb & Ellis' Tucson office. Divitowill team with senior vice president Bob Davis and vice presidentHoward Kong on the leasing end, while Kevin Rude, vice presidentand director of management services will oversee propertymanagement with help from property managers Sherry Barnhart, LuAnnShelton and Teri Fitzgibbons.

Divito tells GlobeSt.com that Grubb & Ellis had competedagainst two local companies for the leasing assignment, which hadpreviously belonged to Picor Commercial Real Estate Services. "Thiswas important to us, as it's the first large assignment we've wonsince offering the Grubb & Ellis office here," Divito comments."We put most of the tenants in this portfolio while we were withCBRE, and had represented the project off and on over the years, sowe're real excited about this opportunity to work withIntercontinental on this."
