Curt Stanton, principal and Ryan Bertin, associate with Paine/Wetzel-Oncor International represented Emerson in the seven-year lease transaction at 110 Quarry Park Blvd. Stanton says the company is consolidating five different offices throughout Calgary into this location, which will open in February 2010. "The lease rates for office in the area is in the low $20s, net," he tells GlobeSt.com.
The tenant joins others that have signed on to occupy office buildings in the park, such as Jacobs Engineering and Cardell, which will also be the developer of many of the residential homes. Remington began the project in 2006 and is now in phase one, engaged in the development of up to 15 low-rise office buildings, some build-to-suit and some spec, as well as abundant trails and green space.
Tenants at the three North Campus buildings, totaling 269,000 square feet, include AMEC going into the Building C and Athene Corporate Services going into Building B. Cardell is going into Building A; these are to be finished in 2009. The South Campus features the build-to-suit properties, totaling 430,000 square feet. Another building, Quarry Park West, will also be finished in 2009.
