Iron Mountain will be occupying a 140,545-square foot building in the park that, according to the park's Web site, has been completed. Located at 2031 International Pkwy, Iron Mountain will be moving into the building this summer and employ some two-dozen people. The document storage company will be housing both private and public records in the space.
Iron Mountain has a significant presence in the Mid-Atlantic region; last year a subsidiary, Iron Mountain Information Management, renewed space at 4451 Georgia Pacific Blvd. in Frederick, MD, and 403 Glenn Dr. in Sterling, VA., for a total of 190,000 square feet with First Potomac; it also occupies space at 7605 Dorsey Run Rd. in Jessup, MD--one of the largest industrial complexes in the Baltimore Washington Corridor. It inked a deal in the Virginia Gateway Distribution Center because it is an hour's drive from the DC area, according to the park. John Detleff of Grubb and Ellis represented Iron Mountain and Rich McDaniel and Jeff Dowdell of CB Richard Ellis represented the owner in this transaction.
