Davidson has inked about 10 new contracts over the last 15 months--and two in the last 30 days, including this one in Beltsville. The company first began operating in the DC area in 2004, when it added a hotel in Gaithersburg, MD to its management portfolio. Since then it has signed contracts with hotel operators in Richmond, VA; Annapolis, MD; and Alexandria, VA, a spokeswoman tells GlobeSt.com. She declined to provide the value of the Beltsville contract.

Located at 4095 Powder Mill Rd., the Sheraton Washington North Hotel is a nine-story facility that is close to several government offices, including the FBI, FDA, US Social Security Administration, Walter Reed Hospital, and USDA.
