MBA took delivery of the recently developed building in June 2008. The approximate 170,000-square-foot building is only partially occupied by MBA; it has tapped Transwestern to lease out the remaining 110,000 square feet or so to office and ground floor retail tenants. It was developed by Manhattan-based Paramount Group Inc. and Washington, DC-based DRI Development Services LLC.
Other buildings that have been certified Gold C&S in DC include 1101 New York Ave., owned by Louis Dreyfus Property Group and 20 M St. SE, a 190,000-square-foot office building developed by Lerner Enterprises and designed by WDG Architecture. The A 400,000-square-foot office at 1101 New York Ave. was designed by Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates.
