AXA REIM bought the 121,390-square-foot Stora Bernstrop in Malmö for AXA REIM Immoselect. Likewise, the company purchased the 88,580-square-foot Hansa City portfolio for Axa Immosolutions.
Purchases are not the only way the company is expanding, according to reports, AXA REIM will also be opening an office in India by 2010.
Last year, AXA REIM did $7.3 billion worth of transactions. These deals included $3.8 billion of investments and $3.5 billion of disposals. From the year-end statistics, AXA REIM manages $51.5 billion of assets.
