Bendalin spent more than eight years at pension-fund advisor Sarofim Realty Advisors, providing asset management services for a diverse portfolio of retail and multifamily properties, and also sourcing new acquisition opportunities. Most recently, he was with Trammell Crow Company and The Staubach Company as an investment sales broker selling retail properties in North and Central Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
"I was with Staubach in capital markets and when they were purchased by JLL, with investment sales activity being down they didn't have an interest in bringing on [Staubach's] investment sales team," he tells GlobeSt.com. "And down time is the best time to start things up, so it's a combination of the two."
Cliffside Realty Advisors is currently marketing for sale two retail shopping centers in Plano, TX, for Houston-based Weingarten Realty Investors. The assets are Pitman Corners, a 192,267-square-foot community center anchored by Albertsons; and Custer Park, a 114,519-square-foot community center shadow-anchored by a Kroger Signature Store.
