KTGY's David Senden, principal and the lead designer of the project, describes the 1818 Platinum Triangle complex as a podium-style, five-story building with subterranean parking featuring units of one and two bedrooms with one and two baths. The units range from 758 square feet to 1,328 square feet. Amenities at the luxury complex include a rooftop lounge with a resort-style heated pool, cabanas, outdoor kitchens, a grilling area, dining lanais, a clubhouse with a media lounge and multimedia gaming room, a private screening room, a catering kitchen, a conference room, a fitness center and other features.
Senden says that the 1818 Platinum Triangle development "sets the stage for what is to come" at the Platinum Triangle, where a mass transit intermodal station known as Artic is also being planned, with KTGY involved in the design and planning. Anaheim City officials are planning the $150 million first phase of Artic, which is an acronym for the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center. Artic is planned for a 16-acre site near Angel Stadium and the Honda Center that is owned by the City of Anaheim and the Orange County Transportation Authority.
The Platinum Triangle planning area, when fully developed, will include nearly 20,000 residential units, five million square feet of retail and 15 million square feet of office space.
