This is the fifth project Morgan/Harbour has collaborated on with Leaders Bank, including constructing its headquarters building also in Oak Brook, as well as locations in Naperville and Hoffman Estates.

"We have developed a strong relationship with Leaders Bank over the past several years and understand the requirements associated with their business," said Greg Freehauf, VP of Morgan/Harbour. "We expect to complete this project in a fast-tracked schedule in order for the bank to take occupancy and transition operations efficiently."

The bank's new operations center will offer an open office plan, private executive offices and conference rooms, with a focus on modern features and an efficient layout. OKW Architects Inc. designed the office, the construction of which is being overseen by Ben Warriner, project manager, and Jim Boge, assistant project manager, with Morgan/Harbour.

The Class B office building was originally constructed in 1969, and sits on a 1.8-acre lot. The property is located in the eastern East/West corridor, where asking lease rates are around $27, according to a recent Cushman & Wakefield office market report. Occupancy rates in the submarket are around 81%, according to the research.
