Towers Perrin is a global professional services firm that provides human resources, risk and financial management services. The company occupies the 14th and 15th floors and a portion of the 13th floor at the 1925 Century Park East building for a combined total of 43,163 square feet.

Kathy McKay, vice president of leasing for Watt Plaza, notes that with the renewal of its lease, Towers Perrin Forster & Crosby will have maintained offices at Watt Plaza for more than 30 years. McKay adds that Watt through the years has updated the property in order to retain top-tier professional firms such as Towers Perrin.

The latest renovations to Watt Plaza are focused on the building exteriors as well as infrastructure, McKay explains. The exterior renovations already under way include a completely new landscaping program and upgrading the arrival area and plaza on Century Park East.

In addition, the front carriage area is being reconfigured to valet service to ease access, and the plaza will be transformed into a landscaped outdoor area with seating and a new water feature. The exterior improvements are expected to be completed in November.

Watt Plaza also is investing in a major modernization of the buildings 20 passenger and two freight elevators using new sustainable technologies in a project that is scheduled to be completed in October 2010. In addition to the renovations, Watt Plaza has made significant green building compliant modifications and has applied for a LEED Gold certification.

Towers Perrin Forster & Crosby was represented by Lisa St. John and Peter Best during their tenure at Jones Lang LaSalle; currently they are with Madison Partners. Watt Plaza was represented in-house by McKay and Jamie Bergantz.
