"The relationships that have been developed with ID Label, Lake Villa and Lake County have been wonderful," says Jim Brucato, Principle president. "We worked very hard with ID Label to achieve very specific criteria, while meeting their budget. We are excited to have been selected to design and construct ID Label's new facility."

ID Label was founded in 1994 and has seen substantial growth in the past decade. It merged in 2001 with ICS of America, a supplier of bar code labels and equipment to the library marketplace - a move which established the company as a leader in the auto ID industry. Additionally, the firm purchased the rights to the equipment and customer base of Imagescan Inc. in 2004, which enhanced ID Label's presence in the variable imaging and pre-print barcoding industries.

Mike Long is serving as project manager for Principle on this development. The property will offer 4,000 square feet of office, a 1,000-square-foot mezzanine, and 16,000 square feet of warehouse/manufacturing space, with two exterior docks, one drive-in door and 35 parking stalls. The building will be located in the Lake County submarket, where occupancy rates are near 92%, according to Cushman & Wakefield's Q1 industrial market report.
