Aon operates its main offices at the Aon Center, 200 E. Randolph, in Chicago, and also has a satellite office in Rolling Meadows. The space Reed is building out will house a department of Aon's business it is moving from the Rolling Meadows office. IA Interior Architects designed the space, while construction manager CB Richard Ellis selected Reed for the project, with Bryan Kreuger, senior project manager with Reed, leading the construction team in the build-out, which is expected to complete in coming weeks.
Kreuger says Reed has seen an increase in interior build-out work in recent months. "Aon has done quite a few recent improvements to their space, but this is the first time they've used a general contractor for their work because of the scope of what they're doing," he tells GlobeSt.com. "Aon's a good client and we're looking forward to doing more work with them."
