"This data center has been specifically designed to give organizations the service, support and pricing that has been missing in the Chicago suburban colocation market," Tom Chaffin, managing partner of Continuum, says. "I believe the Chicago suburbs are poised for tremendous colocation growth." Continuum says its location in the Oak Creek Center offers advantages including accessibility to interstates 355 and 88.
Continuum, which has provided colocation services to companies of all sizes for more than a decade, has a history of data center development in the Chicago suburbs. Most recently, Continuum's creators developed an enterprise level 86,000-square-foot data center in neighboring Oak Brook. Developed in 2007, that property was acquired by a national data center operator in August.
