The Egis unit will join forces with PSR - HVAC & Mechanical Services, another locally based company that Service Logic acquired in March 2008, while retaining their individual branding, according to a statement from Egis. PSR president Rob Miller says its acquisition by Service Logic has resulted in the growth of its mobile service contracts and project work.

Both companies expect to hire additional staff as a result of this transaction. "That is saying a lot about our product and service offerings considering the current state of the economy," says Egis Engineering president Tom Ripley.

Under today's agreement, Egis Engineering will operate as Egis Real Estate Services Inc., and retain current employees and clients. The balance of the founding company will continue to provide property and construction management services to clients in the greater Puget Sound.
