Building II for the project, a 140,000-square-foot facility, is closing in on full occupancy, according to the Silver Cos., which is developing and leasing the project. The company just inked a 4,700 square foot lease with Camber Corp., which will be using the space in support of its federal government contracting activities by relocating people working in its acquisition services, business development, and management professionals from other Camber offices in Northern Virginia, according to Paul Schiele, director of operations, Camber Systems Support Division.
In April, David Newman in Silver Cos.' sales and leasing office told GlobeSt.com that building II, delivered in March, was 80% pre-leased and that the company has solid prospects for the additional 20%. Silver Cos. was unable to return a call to GlobeSt.com in time for publication, regarding this story.
Todd Brinkman, Michael Altman and Michael Burke of Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers provided transaction and project management services to Camber. Phillip Baxter and David Newman of Silver Companies represented the landlord in the transaction. In a prepared statement Baxter says that Silver Cos. is awaiting site plan approval from Stafford County to begin work on Building III.
