Robert Dinner and Michael A. Gordon of Cushman & Wakefield's Edison office orchestrated the multi-year lease as exclusive agents for Metroplex Corporate Center. Ken Belfiglio of Bussel Realty Corp. in Edison and Eric Ramer from ICON Commercial Interests in Atlanta served as tenant brokers.

Atlanta-based LogistiCare Solutions this summer was retained by the New Jersey Department of Human Services to provide basic non-emergency transportation services for the Medicaid population. The firm manages a national network of more than 1,300 transportation companies that provide over 18 million trips to more than six million covered customers annually. LogistiCare's clients have included state Medicaid agencies, school boards, transit authorities, hospital systems and managed care organizations.

According to Dinner, LogistiCare Solutions was on a tight schedule to open and begin operating their new call center. "Metroplex Corporate Center has a sophisticated construction department and a responsive owner in Metroplex Associates," he says. "As such, we were able to quickly deliver the improvements needed for the company's sophisticated data requirements."

Aggressive terms and the property's desirable location directly opposite the Edison rail station on Plainfield Avenue also were keys to securing the lease with LogistiCare Solutions, according to Dinner. The 125,000-square-foot 200 Metroplex is part of the three-building, 264,000-square-foot Metroplex Corporate Center. The property offers onsite food service and available units from 6,000 to 30,000 square feet.
