"Our highly successful retail leasing campaign combined with the continuing absorption of our office space at 880 Third, where only two floors remain available, clearly validates our decision to upgrade and modernize this important property," says Jack Resnick & Sons president Jonathan Resnick in a release. The Resnick organization is conducting a makeover of its 18-story property, including a double-height stone and glass lobby, two-story retail storefronts, a new aluminum façade cladding system, new windows, a modernized elevator system and cabs and a new cooling tower.

Paul Wexler of Corcoran Wexler Healthcare Properties represented Columnbia along with Shari Colburn, the university's director of acquisitions and leasing, and its vice president of real estate, Philip Silverman. Jack Resnick & Sons was represented by Dennis Brady, the director of leasing, and C. Patricia Forero. In a release, Brady says the rent is in the $50s. With the recent signing of TD Bank, Crumbs Bakery and Pret-a-Manger, the retail space at 880 Third is now fully leased, according to the release.
