The firm was attracted to 23the building for its efficient layout and ability to accommodate power requirements, Transwestern says. Designed by Perkins & Will, the property features a conference center, fitness center, indoor bike storage, copy shop, on-site catering, restaurant and financial services.
The 31-story building is located in Chicago's Central Business District, where overall occupancy is around 86%, according to Jones Lang LaSalle's mid-year office report. Asking lease rates in the CBD are around $30 per square foot, JLL's research says.
