Gunderson will be working alongside the group's senior team, including Howard Meyer, Bill Truszkowski and William Rolander Jr. "We are pleased to have an opportunity to attract an industry veteran who will enhance JBC's position in the marketplace with its clients, partners and cooperating brokers," says Rolander, a principal and director of product leasing for the company. "Mark is a team player with excellent esprit de corps."

Gunderson comes from work as director of leasing for JLL's property assignments including 10 and 120 South Riverside Plaza, One Financial Place and 225 West Wacker Drive, and the AON sublease. Throughout the course of his career, he's leased three million square feet in downtown Chicago, more than half of which has occurred in transactions in the last four years. Having received his bachelor of science in business/finance from Indiana University, Gunderson now serves on the board of the Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association and a member in the Chicago Real Estate Organization.

Following Gunderson being brought on staff, the John Buck Co. totals more than 75 years of combined leasing expertise. It has a six-million-square-foot portfolio in Chicago's CBD and surrounding suburbs.
