Rockwood Capital, a private real estate investment company, promoted Peter Kaye in its San Francisco office. Jaye, currently a director as well as the portfolio manager for Rockwood Funds V and VII, will become a managing director. Kaye joined the firm seven years ago from the acquisitions group at SSR Realty Advisors in San Francisco. Before that, he was worked at GE Capital Real Estate and Clark Construction Group.
Industrial brokers Fabrizio Paolozzi, Bryan Pennington and Brad Scott moved their licenses to the Redwood Shores office of GVA Kidder Mathews from the Burlingame office of Coldwell Bank Commercial. Both continue to specialize in the sale and leasing of industrial properties for GVA.
GVA Kidder Mathews is an independent West Coast coast commercial real estate firm with nine offices. The Seattle-based firm entered the California market two years ago and now has offices in downtown San Francisco, Redwood Shores and, most recently Santa Clara by way of its merger with Wayne Mascia Associates.
Marcus & Millichap, the brokerage firm, promoted investment specialist Douglas Himan to vice president--one of the highest levels of recognition the firm awards its sales agents. Himan began his career with M&M in 2000, specializing in multi-family investment sales.
