LaFollette joins HFF as senior managing director, coming off a stint as executive vice president and senior member of the Houston Multi-Housing Properties Group at CBRE, as well as a member of CBRE's Institutional Group. Joining LaFollette are Todd Stewart, former CBRE executive vice president and also a senior member of the CBRE Multi-Housing Properties Group; Todd Marix, who served as former senior vice president; Tre Banks, a specialist in multifamily transactions while with CBRE and Chris Curry, who worked as a sales associate at the company.

Stewart and Marix have been hired as HFF's senior managers, Banks as director and Curry as associate director. Rounding out the team are Steve Wendling as director analyst, Cindy Little as associate director, Melissa Nicks as market research analyst and Claire Wehri as graphic designer.

"This addition will not only further enhance HFF's already strong national multihousing team but will add multihousing sales as a property specialty to our existing and established Houston investment sales presence that until now has focused on office, industrial, retail and self storage sales assignments," stated Grady Roberts, senior managing director and co-head of HFF's Houston office in a prepared statement. "This is a great fit for our firm, and we are pleased to join forces with this top-rated multihousing brokerage team."

Representatives from HFF and CBRE were not available by deadline. Updates will follow.
