LoPinto, Equinox CEO, cites Jacobstein's "extraordinary knowledge, experience and perspective on the leadership and management of public and private real estate organizations," all of which will add "significant value in guiding the organizational needs of our clients, and the firm's board of directors practice." Jacobstein comes to Equinox from Deloitte, where he was senior advisor to the firm's real estate practice.
Prior to Deloitte, Jacobstein served as president and COO of Developers Diversified Realty Corp. Prior to DDR, he was vice chairman and COO of Wilmorite Inc., a privately held developer of regional shopping malls.
Jacobstein has served on numerous boards of directors, including DDR, and, currently, Corporate Office Properties Trust and the external advisory board of Marcus & Millichap. Equinox Partners is headquartered in New York City, with offices in Washington, DC, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
