The six-story, class A structure sits at the corner of Washington Street, across the street from the Morris County Courthouse and one block from the Morristown Green. Richard Baumstein of Cushman & Wakefield served as tenant representative in the multi-year lease. The company will relocate to its new, full-floor office this summer from Parsippany.

The newly built property is the first certified Green building in the state. Run by the Green Building Initiative, Green Globes is a green building guidance and assessment program for advancing the overall environmental performance and sustainability of commercial buildings.

Elements of the Green Globes system include:

• A comprehensive environmental assessment protocol;
• Software tools for online assessment;
• Best practices;
• Guidance for green construction and operations;
• Qualified assessors with green building expertise; and
• A rating/certification system that follows a 1,000-point scale.
