"While economic conditions continue to be strained, we are still experiencing interest for distribution space in Columbus," says Brian Marsh, SVP and market officer for ProLogis here. "ProLogis has a high-quality portfolio and well-located distribution facilities throughout the United States, which helps us maintain strong customer relationships from market to market."

The largest lease was signed by Spring Air. The mattress manufacturer will occupy 116,000 square feet at Foreign Trade Centre Building Four. The facility is a 290,000-square-foot distribution center and is one of six buildings within the 1.4-million-square-foot industrial park.

Almo Corp. leased 97,000 square feet at Capital Park South Distribution Center Building Two, a 2.8-million-square-foot park. The Philadelphia-based distributor will occupy a portion of the 266,000-square-foot building.

In two smaller deals, TCB Continuum took 75,000 square feet and an unnamed retailer of consumer products signed on for 38,000 square feet. TCB will be housed in the Leap Road Distribution Center Building One, while the retailer will occupy part of Capital Park South Distribution Center Building Seven.
