Torrance, CA-based Kubota will use its new facility to store and distribute finished goods, including construction equipment and consumer lawn and garden equipment. The new lease expands Kubota's presence in Georgia, adding to an assembly plant in nearby Gainesville.
MasTec is extending its relationship with First Industrial to a third location, says Kent Mason, regional director for the REIT's Atlanta region. The new space has ready access to Atlanta's extensive highway network, he says.
Chicago-based First Industrial owns and manages 9.2 million square feet in the Atlanta market. It also has 138 developable acres that can support 1.9 million square feet.
