Endendyk tells GlobeSt.com that the new office opening in Capital of Texas Highway came about thanks to dad Bruce Endendyk who worked with the CB land group in Dallas. "He had some relationships with the Cawley guys and over time, they decided this would be the best route for the Texas market," he explains. Though the Endendyk's focus is land, Endendyk says the goal for Austin is a full-service real estate office. Bruce Endendyk, in the meantime, is working from GVA Cawley's Dallas office.
Between the two of them, the plan is to boost GVA Cawley's land activities throughout Texas. "Our first foray is land, and we're also trying to get into office building leasing and management," Endendyk comments. He goes on to say that some deals are in the works, but declined to discuss those any further.
At this time, he goes on to say, Texas is in a great position in terms of the land market, and should be set for growth over the next several years. The land hasn't been overpriced, Endendyk explains, and there's been a great deal of in-migration into the Lone Star State.
"The one thing that will make the land more valuable is job growth," he adds. "The more we can see the jobs relocating to Texas, the more we'll see the land increase in value."
