Current plans for the multi-phase project, for which Callison will design at least the first phase, call for a two-level retail facility, a 10-story, 183,000-square-foot office building and three residential towers. The development is going up along the Santa Lucia Riverwalk near Monterrey's famous Fundidora Park.

"This is a landmark project in the Santa Lucia area of Monterrey and we are very excited to be involved and to contribute to the vision of such a special place," says Randy Stone, principal in Callison's Dallas office.

Each building in the development will be connected through a collection of pedestrian concourses. Callison executives say the three residential buildings will serve as the iconic facilities of the project and are "creatively knit together by an extensive roof garden and an open, two-level urban oasis."

Callison, which specializes in retail properties, has offices around the world including New York City, Dallas, Shanghai, London, Dubai, Mexico City and Mumbai.
