It has been selected by Rreef to take over the 11.1-million-square-foot DC area portfolio. The portfolio includes such notable properties as 1800 K St., a 205,000-square-foot office; 8280 Greensboro Dr., a 210,000-square-foot building in McLean, VA; the 395,000-square-foot 2020 K St.; Gateway Commerce Center, a 1.9-million-square-foot, three-building industrial complex located in Columbia, MD; and Point Breeze Business Center, a 1.8-million-square-foot, six-building industrial center located in Baltimore. The transition to Transwestern should be completed by the end of 2009.
Jones Lang LaSalle will be managing Rreef's retail assets--two of which are located in Fairfax County. They are the 395,199-square-foot Crossroads Center in Falls Church, VA and the 119,093-square-foot Springfield Commons in Springfield.
