Curator Hotelbetriebsgesellschaft mbH Berlin entered into the franchise deal. The eight-floor hotel is expected to open towards the end of 2010. Plans call for the creation of four meeting rooms, a fitness center, a breakfast room and 214 bedrooms.

Hilton is also in the process of building a 242-key, 31-story Waldorf Astoria Berlin, which is slated to open in 2011.

Globally there are more than 1,700 Hampton hotels, accounting for more than 170,000 rooms. The Hilton Worldwide brand has more than 3,400 hotels throughout 79 countries. Its portfolio includes Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton andHilton Grand Vacations.
