The assets, located in Indidana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia, total roughly 13.8 million square feet. The majority of the properties are based in Michigan, which totals 4.1 million square feet, and Ohio, which totals nearly six million square feet. The Midwest portfolio consits of grocer and big box-anchored shopping centers. Tenants include Kroger, Giant Eagle, Spartan, Best Buy, Dollar Tree, WalMart and T.J. Maxx.

Properties include the Southland Shopping Center in Middleburg Heights, OH; Miracle Mile Shopping Plaza in Toledo, OH; Hampton Village Centre in Rochester Hills, MI; and Grand Traverse Crossing in Traverse Cityy, MI.

Strietzel will be based out of Farmington Hills, MI, a suburb of Detroit. He has a team of 40 professionals that will assist him from that office.

Most recently, Strietzel held the position of VP of property management for Centro's Southeast Region. In this capacity he oversaw 16.5 million square feet of assets. His industry experience also includes a stint with New Plan Realty Trust Inc. and Equity Investment Group.
