All three firms resigning specialize in medical marketing. In the Business Campus, Intergrated Communications renewed 43,101 square feet at 5 Sylvan Way. In Waterview, Torre Lazur renewed 61,945 square feet at 20 Waterview Blvd., and Pace LLC re-upped 19,633 square feet at 35 Waterview Blvd.
Mack-Cali does not distribute lease rates for its properties. But according to Marcus & Millichap, rents per square foot in the area average $20.10 and the vacancy rate is at 21.4%.
Scott Panzer and Robert Romano of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the Interpublic firms, while Mack-Cali's vice president of leasing, Diane Chayes, represented the Edison, NJ-based REIT.
Mack-Cali owns interests in 289 assets, mostly offices, in the Northeast. Last month it signed a 39,069-square-foot lease with the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association (PBA) of the City of New York in Manhattan at its 125 Broad St. building Downtown.
