Vice president of Leasing Brian Banaszynski provided in-houserepresentation for Advance, while Jeffery Heller and Linda Dow ofCBRE represented Covanta in the transaction. Ed Butler, Esq. ofMcCarter & English was legal counsel for the landlord, andRobert Klausner, Esq. of Day Pitney was the legal counsel for thetenant in the lease negotiation.

Advance recently renovated the building here to meet newstandards. Onsite amenities include a fitness facility, commonconference rooms and full-service cafeteria, as well as expansiveparking. According to Banaszynski, Advance has plans to expand thefitness center and cafeteria.

"We conducted a long and comprehensive search for a new locationto serve as our corporate headquarters," adds Mike Wright,Covanta's senior vice president and chief human resources officer."This site provides us with a large, flexible floor space, and itis also a space in which LEED certification can be pursued." Thecompany, which is currently based in Fairfield and working toward afall 2010 move.
