Until now, Las Vegas did not have a specialized group cateringto the automotive sector. Hussain explains that CBRE's Las Vegasoffice will now offer a single point of contact and a"one-stop-shop" solution based on a national platform.

CBRE unveiled the nationalplatform last fall. Michael Gerard, a Detroit-based CBREsenior managing director who is coordinating the company's efforts,told GlobeSt.com at the time that the company was creating the newgroup to provide a unified approach to serving the automotiveindustry, not just for brokerage transactions but for the manyother services that CBRE provides that can provide solutions tocustomers in the automotive sector.

CBRE historically has served clients across the full spectrum ofthe automotive sector—manufacturers, suppliers, dealers andinvestors—according to Gerard. He points out that the goals of autodealers have shifted in response to the economic downturn, and thenew CBRE offering is shifting accordingly.
