The six locations that LRG developed for CVS last year includedthree in Southern California and three in Central California. Thethree in Southern California included a store in Whittier, a storein Huntington Beach across from the Huntington Beach Pier, and astore in La Quinta.pIn Central California, LRG developed three CVSlocations in Bakersfield, including a store at the high-trafficintersection of Stockdale and California that was the CVS chain'sfirst new store development in the Bakersfield market as well asthe first freestanding prototype store with a drive-through for CVSin Bakersfield.

The other two Bakersfield stores were developed at the corner ofPanama and Union and at Niles and Fairfax. In addition, LRG isdeveloping a fourth CVS store to be opened in 2010 in Bakersfieldat the intersection of Rosedale and Calloway.

Jeremy Just, principal and CEO of LandMark Retail Group, saysthat the firm is "aggressively looking to locate new developmentsites in strategic locations on behalf of CVS CareMark." LRG hasbeen a preferred developer since 2005 for CVS/Pharmacy, the retaildivision of CVS Caremark Corp., which is America's largest retailpharmacy with more than 7,000 stores.
