The 208,244-square-foot and 139,120-square-foot buildingsdelivered in 2009. In August, BAE Systems signed a lease to fullyoccupy the smaller of the two office buildings at 520 Gaither Rd.,with a move in date scheduled for April 2010.

Sustainable features include water consumption for landscapingand indoor plumbing processes that are projected to save more thanone million gallons a year; an advanced thermal envelope; highefficiency glazing; occupancy sensors; an efficient heating,ventilation and air conditioning system; and bicycle storage,changing rooms and preferred parking for fuel-efficient andcarpooling vehicles.

According to president Robert Cohen, the utility efficiencieswill translate into lower operating expenses compared to otherbuildings in the area.
