Publisher’s websites contain different kinds of content. Inaddition to editorial content, the website must provide otherinformation like contact information, subscription information, howto advertise, and other site promotion pages. There are alsocertain pages on the site that are complex pages that includecontent containers consisting of links and copy form editorialsections of the CMS. The editorial modules of the IPS have defineddirectory structures. Issues of print editions will always have anew directory for a new issue. ACM provides a method for you tocreate directories and web pages within directories. ACM is pageoriented. You can create any number of pages and link themtogether. The ACM module is also used to maintain special contentitems including:

  • CSS files
  • Common HTML include files
  • Content of system email messages
  • Registration order flows
  • Subscription order flows

During the setup process, a number of ACM directories will becreated. The templates for each area will be created, and theconfiguration for each directory will be implemented.
