Publisher’s websites contain different kinds of content. In addition to editorial content, the website must provide other information like contact information, subscription information, how to advertise, and other site promotion pages. There are also certain pages on the site that are complex pages that include content containers consisting of links and copy form editorial sections of the CMS. The editorial modules of the IPS have defined directory structures. Issues of print editions will always have a new directory for a new issue. ACM provides a method for you to create directories and web pages within directories. ACM is page oriented. You can create any number of pages and link them together. The ACM module is also used to maintain special content items including:
- CSS files
- Common HTML include files
- Content of system email messages
- Registration order flows
- Subscription order flows
During the setup process, a number of ACM directories will be created. The templates for each area will be created, and the configuration for each directory will be implemented.
