In a lawsuit in an Atlanta federal court, Cousins says BentleyForbes Group LLC and its subsidiaries wrongfully terminated its property management contract, changed the locks on the management offices and hired away its employees to operate the building. BentleyForbes, for its part, claims Cousins' lawsuit is "frivolous," claiming dissatisfaction with Cousins' management of the property.

BentleyForbes accused Cousins of attempting to lure tenants in the city's tallest tower to other properties owned or managed by the Cousins, an Atlanta-based real estate investment trust, according to the lawsuit. The accusation is unfounded, Cousins said.
