Rufrano comes to C&W from Australian-based Centro PropertiesGroup, where he has been CEO since 2008. He starts in his newcapacity at C&W on March 22, following the completion of histenure at Centro, and also is being appointed to C&W's board ofdirectors.


In a statement, Carlo Barel di Sant'Albano, CEO of EXOR S.p.A.,C&W's majority shareholder, says Rufrano's "extensive realestate experience and management background make him the idealleader to grow the company and further expand the brand worldwide.We are confident that Glenn has the vision to lead Cushman &Wakefield, creating meaningful value for our clients, employees andother stakeholders."


Prior to joining Centro, Rufrano served as CEO of New Plan ExcelRealty Trust Inc. from 2000 to 2007. He was a cofounder of theO'Connor Group and spent 17 years with the firm, now known asO'Connor Capital Partners, which has invested internationally inreal estate. He also spent more than five years at LandauerAssociates Inc. where he was involved in the sale of some of themost prominent office properties in the US.


Rufrano says in a release that C&W "is one of the mostrecognized and respected commercial real estate services firms inthe world, and I am looking forward to contributing to its growth."He serves on the boards of General Growth Properties and New YorkUniversity's Real Estate Institute, and was previously a directorof Trizec Properties Inc., an office REIT, and Criimi Mae Inc., amortgage REIT.
