According to the article, the suit notes that the parent company also siphoned close to $150 million of Opus West's earnings, leaving the subsidiary without the proper resources to meet its obligations as a separate business unit.

The Business Journal says the defendants are Opus Corp., Opus Foundation, the Gerald Rauenhorst 1982 Irrevocable Trust F/B/O Grandchildren, the Gerald Rauenhorst 1982 Irrevocable Trust F/B/O Children, and Keith P. Bedrarowski, Luz Campa, and Alder Trust Co. Opus West's creditors are being represented by Vicki Driver of Dallas law firm Pronske & Patel. A call to Driver for comment was not returned by deadline.

Opus West filed Chapter 11 last summer. Two other regional units, Opus East and Opus South, also filed for bankruptcy in 2009.
