Construction of Senior Star was a two phase project. One portion included the development of a two-story, 47,000-square-foot Memory Care facility. This portion holds 77 memory care apartments. The other component is a 360,000-square-foot, three-story facility. This holds 269 independent living and assisted living apartments.
Within the memory care portion, apartments range in size from 224 square feet to 343 square feet. In the independent living and assisted living apartments units are between 500 square feet and 1,100 square feet.
Ammenities include multiple common areas, a library, internet café, hair salon, dining rooms, indoor pool and underground parking garage.
Beyond the buildings, McShane oversaw site work around the 29-acre development, including landscaping, walking paths and outdoor seating areas.
