Rosen, whose seven hotels and resorts in the Orlando marketemploy dozens of people of Haitian heritage, is looking to buildhundreds of one-room homes costing $5,000 each that would be soldat 1% interest with flexible financing options for long-termmortgages. The homes are designed to withstand hurricane andearthquake damage.

"Could you imagine the pride of saying, 'This is my littlehouse?' I mean the pride that will come with this is justunbelievable, and we are hoping it affects generations ofHaitians," Rosen says.
