The new tenants are Action Fire Fab & Supply, Ozark Trucking, PCS Electrical Products and Cal EMA. Their leases range from 9,900 square feet to 40,000 square feet, and McClellan Park's SVP of leasing, Ken Giannotti, says that said some much bigger deals are in the pipeline, including "significant new interest from several large industrial prospects."
Action Fire expanded its business from Tracy into 14,000 square feet at 4920 46th St. that serves as a sprinkler systems supply house. Ozark Trucking signed for 40,000 square feet of warehouse and 2.75 acres of yard and truck laydown at 4915 43rd St. to relocate its facility and 125 employees to the new space.
PCS Electrical Products, an electrical OEM and parts integrator, already has 24,000 square feet at 4917 Dudley Blvd., but will take another 9,900 square feet. The expansion will allow the company's business to double in the next 12 to 24 months, according to Craig Volpe, general manager of PCS.
Cal EMA has signed for 19,500 square feet at 3224 Howard St. to house emergency supplies for rapid response to statewide emergencies. Cal EMA chose the McClellan Park location for its central location and access to McClellan Airport, according to Lee Dorey, chief of procurement and logistical services for the California Emergency Agency.
The County of Sacramento selected McClellan Business Park LLC in 1999 to acquire and redevelop McClellan Air Force Base. The base was renamed McClellan Business Park in 2001.
