Jerry Shefsky, head of Aquarium Developments, told theWSJ that while the deal has not been finalized, he has linedup financial backing for the project and may start building out thespace as early as this April with the goal of opening in September2011. The idea would be to attract some of the 35 million peoplewho pass through the Times Square area annually.

The WSJ noted that SJP is reportedly in talks with lawfirm Proskauer Rose LLP for 400,000 square feet at 11 Times Square,which to date has not announced any tenants.
