Morgan Stanley bought the assets through its real estatedivision in 2007 for $2.4 billion from All Nippon Airways. CalledANA, the portfolio is made up of InterContinental Hotels, thelargest being the InterContinental Tokyo. All Nippon andInterContinental currently manage the assets, and one of MorganStanley's lenders, Government of Singapore Investment Corp., asovereign wealth fund, is interested in taking over the hotels.
