MISHAWAKA, IN-The Center PC, a plastic surgery practice, has leased 10,500 square feet on the first floor of a newly-opened outpatient facility at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Developed and owned by Indianapolis-based BremnerDuke Healthcare Real Estate, the four-story, 205,000 square foot medical center is connected to the new 254-bed Saint Joseph hospital on all four levels.
SCHAUMBURG, IL- Casual Male Retail Group Inc. has signed an 11,958-square-foot lease in the 91,831-square-foot Schaumburg Promenade, adjacent to the Woodfield Mall. The lease was for the company's new superstore concept, Destination XL. The new store concept will provide a one-stop shopping destination offering a full assortment of their core brands, including Casual Male XL and Rochester Clothing. Inland Real Estate Corp. represented the property owner in the lease.
FLOSSMOOR, IL- McShane Construction Co. has completed the new 15,116 square foot, single-story, mixed-use building on behalf of developer Alliance Real Estate LLC. McShane provided design/build construction services for the project located on a 1.79-acre parcel at 19801 Governors Highway in Flossmoor, Illinois. The building offers retail and medical office. Premier Orthopaedic and Hand Center is occupying a 7,000-square-foot medical office suite. WCS Occupational Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Inc. has also committed to a 2,800 square foot tenant suite for its physical therapy and sports performance services. The law firm of Shapiro, Vasilatos & Cotter, P.C. will occupy a 1,400 square foot office suite. All three tenants will take occupancy in mid-March.
ROSEMONT, IL- Ryan Cos. US Inc. has named Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc. to be the exclusive marketing representative for Rosemont Corporate Center, a 119,000-square-foot Class A office building being developed through a joint venture between Ryan Cos. and the Harp Group. Francis Prock and Steve Kling, principals with CB&K, will handle the assignment for Ryan. The four-story building is approximately 85 percent leased to Cisco Systems, which will occupy 82,000 square feet beginning in June of this year. Skyline Advanced Technology Services will occupy 7,000 square feet, also beginning in June. The Harp Group/Portfolio Hotels & Resorts which will occupy 10,000 square feet beginning next month. The building is being constructed on a three-acre site south of Balmoral Avenue, between River Road and Interstate- 294.
ROCHELLE, IL-Bay Valley Foods has leased an additional 156,013 square feet at 501 Steward Road in Rochelle. The company now occupies 206,013 square feet. Jim Planey and Jeff Janda, both with Lee & Associates of Illinois LLC, represented building ownership, ProLogis, in the transaction. Ed Lowenbaum with Lowenbaum REP Inc. represented the tenant.
NAPERVILLE, IL-Anchor Bolt & Screw Co. sold an 85,600-square-foot manufacturing/warehouse building here at 1560 N. Frontenac to Primavesta. The building also includes 11,000 square feet of office, and 22-foot-high ceilings. Richard G. Daly and Cory E. Ramey with Darwin Realty & Development Corp. represented the seller, while Sam Adam with Charles Rutenberg Realty represented the buyer. The sale price was not disclosed.
DETROIT- Giffels–Webster Engineers (GWE) has signed a five-year lease for 3,513 square feet at Grand Park Centre, a 105,305-square-foot historic office tower located across from Grand Circus Park at 28 W. Adams. The engineering firm relocated from 407 E. Fort St. in Detroit.
TROY, MI-AAM I LLC has purchased the 147,609-square-foot Handleman Building at 500 Kirts Blvd. for $3 million. Todd Hawley, SVP with Friedman Real Estate Group Inc. represented both the seller, Handleman Co., and the purchaser in this transaction.
KENOSHA, WI-Venture One Real Estate LLC has closed on a 59,588-square-foot industrial facility at 4909 70th Ave., announced Mark Goode with the Chicago-based real estate investment and development firm. The building is fully leased to Pneumatech Inc., a compressed air system engineering company and a subsidiary of Stockholm, Sweden-based Atlas Copco AB. The facility, built in phases beginning in 1989, is within the Kenosha Industrial Park on 10.88 acres just east of the Kenosha Regional Airport and three miles east of the full four-way interchange at Interstate 94 and 52nd Street. David Lange with Commercial Investment Partners LLC, based in Hartland, WI, represented Venture One. Rob Pitts, with Kenosha-based Pitts Brothers & Associates LLC, represented the seller, Brookfield, WI-based PT Enterprises.
