Encore Acquisitions Co. has been at its current location at 777 Main St. in Carter Burgess Plaza for several years. In 2004, the company signed a nine-year lease that involved a renewal of its space on the 14th and 15th floors, and new space on floor 16.
The Star-Telegram article noted that Denbury has 830 employees, and when the dust settles, the combined companies will have approximately 1,200 employees. Following the closing of the merger, Encore chairman Jon Brumley and his son, CEO Jonny Brumley, will leave the company.
